If you’ve got this service pack make sure it’s installed (applies to all operating systems). There’s a minimum size for the resolution which is 1024 x 768 (at lower resolutions the screen is truncated). Depending on what features you have you may need a widescreen monitor; if you do we recommend screens capable of 1280 x 1024 and above.

However, Windows XP, Vista, and Server 2003 are supported based on best performance, future support but not by recommendation.

If you want an effective system performance, the EXACT database should be on a separate physical drive to Windows and the program files on the EXACT server.
Any practice upgrading to Exact version 11 and still running workstations with Windows XP will have noticed that it has significantly slowed down. All XP systems ideally need to be upgraded to Windows 7 to maximise performance.
