Damage During Transport
Most warranty returns are attributable to damage suffered during transit.
Please check your equipment asap. Any issues just call through and we will assist.
Software
All pre-configured computers are extensively tested to ensure we supply a
quality product. Microsoft Windows® installations have been updated with
all current service packs and upgrades. Check your system thoroughly within
the first few days to ensure it operates correctly.
Please contact us if you
have any doubts or require further advice.
Most Windows crashes are caused by accidental user error, hardware failure,
or installation of old or poorly programmed software. Also the increase in
viruses, malware and malicious codes are more sophisticated and widespread than ever.
In light
of this it is difficult to offer any guarantee that your system will continue
to work without issues..
Therefore, you have a responsibility to keep your Anti Virus / Anti Spyware & Anti Rootkit software up to
date.
Remember to regularly defragment your hard drive.

ABCOM Warranty -
Applicable to retail machines with multimedia and pre-installed software
- One year Return to Base warranty on new or refurbished equipment.
- Hardware guarantee and professional telephone support is provided during the warranty period.
- Warranty does not cover user error, power surge spikes, disaster or misuse.
- Extended warranty program available - Please enquire.
ABCOM will carry out repairs to a computer system free of charge, providing:
- The fault is reported within the warranty period.
- The fault is not due to third party damage, wilful tampering or misuse.
- The fault is attributable to hardware failure.
The warranty does not cover on-site repairs.
If the customer cannot return the base unit, we may charge a surcharge for arrangement.
Returns
Procedure (Returned Materials Authorisation)
If equipment needs to be returned, ABCOM will:
- Authorise the repair and issue a return number (RMA Number)
- Dispatch the equipment (tested and clean) within 10 working days.
- Extend your warranty to cover the days lost while the system was in the repair process.
Saturday, evening collection or delivery subject to surcharge
This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
